The wood case is painted white and adorned with filigree wooden trimming, lattice windows with bavarian shutters and flowerboxes, and a balcony. Many lovingly decorated details adorn the house, including a beer garden with beer barrel and beer mugs, a pine tree and a woodpile with ax. The solid-wood cuckoo bird calls on the full hour with the number of the hour (e.g. 3 times at 3 p.m.) and calls once on the half-hour. Everytime the cuckoo calls, the man lifts his beer mug. This clock model has a manual night-switch-off. Clockface and Clock hands are made of wood. The mechanical clockwork runs for 24 hours. The cuckoo clock comes in an original box with complete instructions.
