In the middle of the forest, surrounded by fir trees, stands this small cottage with hand-shingled hipped roof and mullioned windows with green heart shutters. In front of the house stands a shepherd with his sheep grazing in front of the water wheel. The cuckoo opens the door on the hour, chirps and calls the number of hours with an echo. Then one of the 12 different melodies sounds. To the music, the shepherd raises his stick and encourages the sheep to move on. The water wheel is also in motion. On the side is a switch to turn off the music separately or together with the cuckoo. A light sensor automatically turns off the sound in the dark, but the time continues to run. This clock is powered by a quartz movement that requires three 1.5V size C batteries (included). This piece of coziness is made by Engstler, a family business that has been in business for generations and is synonymous with tradition and technology.
