As a highlight, the deer printed below the hands bears other forest animals and a large rock crystal on its head decorated with herbs. On the hour, a chirp sounds, then a cuckoo call with echo. Optionally, you can switch the cuckoo sound to melody. A manual night shut-off is possible. The quartz movement is powered by two 1.5V AA batteries.
